Collins Comfort Solutions is looking for a hard-working, dedicated HVAC Technician /Installer to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for installing and fixing our customers heating, cooling and ventilation systems. Candidates should have experience handling, installing and fixing HVAC equipment, and be comfortable working independently.
Core Responsibilities:
- Travel to homes and businesses on a daily basis as scheduled
- Install new heating, cooling and ventilation systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
- Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
- Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues
- Repair damaged HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or Technical School training with training in the HVAC field
- 2+ years of hands on field experience a must
- Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Critical-thinker, problem-solver
- Must be able to lift 40lbs and work on ladders and in small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces, etc.
- Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule
- Professional appearance
- NATE Certification preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and rotating on-call as needed
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Must pass pre‐employment drug screening
- Must pass a background check
